Just had a dream where this
crazy ass bitch was trying to catch me so I drove off and I was in this dark sketchy town with a lot of forestation and it looked like it had just been raining for some reason I got out of my car and went into some old abandoned police station and I got lost inside but I found my way out and I kept walking and there were these kids in a playground they were looking at me then one of their faces was like O_O then as I got closer its face twisted and turned demonic and it did a sort of shriek then I woke up with that shriek still echoing in my mind. Fuhhh
Im gonna spend the next couple days weeks months however long it takes , bitching about Legend of Korra until season two comes out, and even then I don’t have high hopes for it. I’m so mad about how everything turned out and I haven’t been this disappointed in a while.
I really thought Amon was turning out to be a super badass of a villain.. like fuck it who cares if people know who I am now im still a boss and the most badass bloodbender and I can take revenge and restore my honor (lol) by killing Korra. In the end he just runs away and oh lookie here a double suicide by Tarrlok. Fuck that. Who’s gonna be the villain now? The Lieutenant? Please. You got blown away by a little girl and swatted by a polar bear dog.
Mako and Korra, yeah it was cute in the beginning, but I grew sick of it FAST. It quickly seemed so forced, Mako is an idiot; being confused is not a fucking excuse.. and im gonna leave it at that, I don’t want to bitch about the romances because it’s not a show based on romance lol.
I had hopes going into the final 5 minutes of the finale, like oh ok now Korra gets to travel the world and possibly the spirit world to find a way to get back her bending, but NO. Aang not only graciously gives her her bending back, he also grants her the knowledge to do that to others as well. Such a cheap shot and an easy way out in terms of writing. Where’s the room for character development now? I feel like Korra didn’t learn shit from the first episode to the last. Even with the airbending, she learned it in desperation and in aggressive actions just like firebending… which I think is total BS as well.
They leave so many questions unanswered but the idea of those questions being answered in season 2 is dumb, by then it probably won’t really have to do with the current story at all .
People are telling me not to compare it to the first series, well I’m sorry this is considered a sequel, you can’t really tell anyone to not compare it.
